Dwight Trible: Justice is Love Made Public - Sunday June 28th, 5pm LIVECAST concert!

Join us online in our Sounds of Soul Force Series exploring the themes of justice with Dwight Trible, Randal Fisher on saxophone and flute, multi-dimensional percussionist Chris Garcia and Paul Livingstone on bass and sitar. 

Dwight Trible, featured in LA Weekly's People Issue of 2019 as 'The Cosmic Oracle' has been a persistent and urgent voice for spiritual renewal and healing through improvisational music. He is the director of the World Stage in Leimert Park, LA's most vibrant community gathering spot for black jazz and poetry. Dwight has performed with artists such as Della Reese, Pharaoh Sanders, Oscar Brown, Billy Higgins and Harry Belefonte.  East Los Angeles composer, percussionist Christopher Garcia is versed in a breadth of traditions from jazz and Avante Garde music to the traditional music of India and Mesoamerica and has performed with Bobby Bradford, the Grandmothers of Invention Nels Cline and Don Preston. LA-born saxophonist Randal Fisher is pushing the envelope from the younger generation jazz creatives. Randall has worked with diverse artists such as Aloe Blacc, Miguel Atwood Ferguson, Tony Allen and Kamasi Washington.
